Five groups of questionsCascalto in a minute
What is Cascalto?
Software for companies that service commercial fountains and water features on behalf of clients. It is built to hold every client, site, water feature and piece of equipment in a single record, to log the water chemistry and a performance check at each service visit, to track every fault through to the action taken, to run spring commissioning and winterization as protocols and to gather all of it into a Water Feature Report — alongside scheduling, proposals, invoices and payments.
Who is it for?
Companies that service fountains and water features, and their people: owners, operations managers and the technicians working in the pump vault — firms that build features and then hold the maintenance contract included, along with seasonal commissioning crews and splash pad specialists. They work for hotels and resorts, corporate campuses, office and civic plazas, retail centers, theme parks and municipal parks.
Is it for backyard fountains or garden ponds?
No. Cascalto is not an app for DIY projects or homeowners, nor a route tool for residential pools. It keeps the operating record of a company that maintains commercial water features for its clients.
Is it for a hotel’s or a city’s own maintenance team?
Cascalto is made for independent service companies, not a venue’s in-house staff. Property managers looking for a fountain service company won’t find one supplied or recommended here.

Records, readings and seasons
What does a service visit record?
For each water feature: the water chemistry log (pH, chlorine, alkalinity, TDS, turbidity and temperature), the performance check (spray pattern, jet height, lighting, pump sound), which equipment was checked, any fault with a photo and the action taken, what was cleaned and what was added — every entry stamped with the technician’s name and time.
Who sets the ranges, and does AI check the readings?
You set the range for each parameter on each water feature. Every reading is checked against it by fixed rules, the same every time — never by AI. AI only drafts the summary at the top of the Water Feature Report, which you edit before it is sent.
How are commissioning and winterization handled?
As protocol checklists on each water feature — fill, test, balance and light in spring; drain, blow out the lines, protect the equipment and cover in autumn — with every step recorded as it is done. You book them on the Service Calendar like any visit.
Does the Water Feature Report make my client compliant?
It is a record, not a certificate. Cascalto supports your water management program with documentation and records; it does not certify regulatory or Legionella compliance.
Day to day
Can I schedule recurring service visits?
Yes. Set each site’s rhythm once on the Service Calendar — anything from daily to every six months — assign the technician, and each visit appears on the calendar.
Can I send Service Proposals, collect deposits and invoice?
Yes. Quote a repair or a service contract as a Service Proposal for your client to approve online, collect a deposit before ordering the part, and send the Service Invoice once the work is finished; every payment is recorded.
Can my client log in?
No. You send your client the Water Feature Report, proposals and invoices, by email or as a web link. Your client sees nothing until you send it.
Does it work on a phone?
Cascalto runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, so a technician can complete the record at the water feature.
