Water feature records
Every fountain on record, visit by visit.
Cascalto is built to keep every water feature you service on record with its equipment: the water chemistry against the range you set for it, a performance check on every visit, each fault followed to the action taken, spring commissioning and winterization by protocol — and a Water Feature Report your client keeps.

Client · Site · Water feature · Equipment
A single record, from the client all the way to the nozzle.
Each client holds its sites. Each site holds its water features — fountains, water walls, reflecting pools, cascades, splash pads — each with its own water chemistry log and its own ranges. Under each water feature sits its equipment. Whichever level you open, its full service history is right there.

Built around the water features you service
- 01
Fountains and jets
Display and filtration pumps, nozzle arrays, valves, lighting and the controller, judged in public by how they play.
- 02
Water walls and cascades
The distribution trough, the weir, the sheet of water and the pool at its foot — an even fall is the whole point.
- 03
Reflecting pools
Still water that shows everything: clarity, the overflow edge, the surface skimmed and the chemistry held.
- 04
Splash pads
Ground jets where the public touches the water, so the water chemistry log and the equipment checks matter most.
A service visit, water feature by water feature
Tuesday at Central plaza, start to finish.
Cascalto is built to turn a service visit into a structured record your technician finishes on site: the water chemistry, the performance check, the equipment, every fault and the action taken, what was cleaned and what went into the water.
- Start the service visitThe visit opens on the site with its three water features, so every entry lands on the right one.
- Log the water chemistrypH, chlorine, alkalinity, TDS, turbidity and temperature, each checked against the range you set for the plaza fountain — by fixed rules, never by AI.
- Run the performance checkSpray pattern, jet height, lighting, the sound of the pumps. Jet 4 is running low and uneven: a fault, with a photo, on the record.
- Take the action, check againThe nozzle on jet 4 is descaled on the spot. The check runs again: seven even jets, and the fault closes with what was done.
- A reading outside its rangeAt the reflecting pool, turbidity sits above the range you set. Cascalto asks for the action taken: the filter is backwashed, and the retest goes on the same log.
- Check the equipmentPumps, filter, controller and lighting, each against its own record. LED fixture 6 is dim — the fault stays open until the part is fitted.
- Complete the visitOnce the visit is closed, its entries are set for the client’s Water Feature Report, with photos and the technician’s name.

Ranges you set, per water feature
A splash pad, a reflecting pool and a lobby water wall don’t share one set of numbers. You set the range for each parameter on each water feature; every reading is checked against it, and anything outside is flagged on the visit and in the report.

Faults and follow-ups
A fault found in May isn’t forgotten by August.
A fault is recorded where it is found — on the water feature and the equipment, with a photo — and remains open until the action that resolves it is recorded. Your client can see what you found, what you recommended and when it was done.
- Faults on equipment: degraded or failed, each with the action taken and the parts replaced
- Faults in the display: a jet out of pattern, a fixture dark, a weir running unevenly
- Open faults carry from visit to visit until they close

Equipment at spec
What should be there, against what is.
Give each water feature its specification: this fountain should have a display pump, a filtration pump, seven nozzles, seven LED fixtures and a controller. Cascalto is built to show where each water feature stands against it, and flag a gap before your client does.

Seasons by protocol
Spring commissioning and winterization, step by step.
Your year turns on two cutovers. Cascalto is built to run each one as a protocol checklist for each water feature — every step recorded as it is done, with who did it — so a step missed in autumn isn’t found in spring. Where fountains run all year, the same protocol runs the annual drain-down and clean.

The Water Feature Report
The report your client keeps — and renews on.
Cascalto is built to turn the visits you already logged into a Water Feature Report for each client: the service visits, the water chemistry inside each feature’s range, equipment status, faults and the actions taken, the season’s protocol record and the photos — with a summary you edit before you send it: when your client asks, whenever you choose, or on a schedule you set.

Summary Edited by you
Four service visits. The plaza fountain held its range all month; the reflecting pool’s turbidity rose once and was back in range the same day. Jet 4 was descaled and LED fixture 6 replaced. Winterization is booked for the first week of November.

Questions
About water feature records
Does Cascalto tell me what range each reading should be in?
No. You set the range for each parameter on each water feature, from your own program and your client’s requirements. Cascalto checks every reading against it by fixed rules and flags anything outside — it never decides the chemistry for you.
Which readings can a technician log?
pH, chlorine, alkalinity, TDS, turbidity and temperature, each as a value against the range you set for that water feature, with any chemical added recorded beside it.
Can it hold several water features on one site?
Yes — that is the point. A plaza can hold a fountain, a reflecting pool and a splash pad, each with its own equipment, ranges, chemistry log and history, on one site record.
Does the Water Feature Report make my client compliant?
No software can. The report keeps your records in order and ready for an inspection; your client’s water management program and its compliance stay theirs.
Is any of this AI?
The summary at the top of the Water Feature Report can be drafted for you, and you edit it before it is sent. Readings, ranges and flags are worked out by fixed rules, never by AI.
Does the Water Feature Report go to my client automatically?
Only if you want it to. You send it — at your client’s request or at a moment you pick — as a PDF attached to an email or a web link in your company’s name; on The Operation and The Portfolio you can also set it to go out on a schedule. For a single job, the Work Record does the same on one page.
